I liked this book and look forward to more in the series. Hopefully, future books will have more of a plot. There is one thing I object to and that's Mildred Budge's age. While reading the book, she struck me as someone who was about 80 or 90, but we find out early on she's 61. Not sure how old the author is, but is this what she thinks a person of 61 acts like?! She truly missed the mark! That was the one thing that didn't add up for me in this book.

F-A-I-T-H Fantastic Adventures In Trusting HIM. Daphne Simpkins uses a cast of likable characters to provide a glimpse into the life affirming reality of faith based adventure.

As always, through the full range of emotions we all experience, Daphne Simpkins is superior at showing the inner world of life's true meaning through familiar life events. Well worth the entertaining, funny, and always touching read. These books are keepers. Thank you, Daphne Simpkins.
I am a man, and I liked the book---I have read and liked all three in the Mildred Budge series, and am drawn to the gentle, homespun style. Mildred is a church lady, and I can relate to that because I grew up in a church much like the one in Cloverdale, and I knew church ladies much like Mildred's friends.
